We offer both full time education and flexi-schooling

At Hove Micro-School, we pride ourselves on offering a flexible and personalised approach to education. Our small class sizes allow for a tailored curriculum that meets the needs and interests of each child, creating a nurturing environment where children thrive.

We provide termly reports, regular teacher assessments, and plenty of opportunities for parents to stay involved through feedback and progress meetings. Our flexi-schooling model also allows families to have more control over how their child’s education is structured.

2024-25 School Day Overview

Our school day runs from 9.30 am to 3.30 pm, Monday to Thursday, with a mix of core class time and optional clubs open to the whole school to enrich the learning experience. Here’s a breakdown of our weekly schedule:

Monday

• 9.30 am - 10.30 am: Music (optional before-school club)

• 10.30 am - 2.30 pm: Class time in separate Key Stages

• 2.30 pm - 3.30 pm: School Newspaper (optional after-school club)

Tuesday

• 9.30 am - 10.30 am: Gardening (optional before-school club)

• 10.30 am - 2.30 pm: Class time in separate Key Stages

• 2.30 pm - 3.30 pm: STEM (optional after-school club)

Wednesday

• 9.30 am - 10.30 am: Outdoor Sports (optional before-school club)

• 10.30 am - 2.30 pm: Class time in separate Key Stages

• 2.30 pm - 3.30 pm: Yoga (optional after-school club)

Thursday

• 9.30 am - 10.30 am: Art and Design (optional before-school club)

• 10.30 am - 2.30 pm: Class time in separate Key Stages

• 2.30 pm - 3.30 pm: Musical Theatre (optional after-school club)

Fees for the Academic Year 2025-26

From September 2025, we are increasing the length of the school day until 3.30 but will continue to offer our optional morning club.

Due to this extra hour with qualified teachers in separate Key Stages, our fees will increase in September 2025. 

Prices for flexi-schooling for the next academic year are as follows for KS1 and 2 (age 5-11):

A minimum commitment of 2 days per week is required to access enough of the weekly curriculum in KS1 and 2​​

2 days per week: £120 per day (£9,120 per annum / £10,260 with morning club)

3 days per week: £110 per day (£12,540 per annum / £14,250 with morning club)

4 days per week: £105 per day (£15,960 per annum / £18,240 with morning club)

We offer either 2 or 4 days in KS3. Prices for flexi-schooling are as follows for KS3 with an extended day (9.30-3.30):

2 days per week: £150 per day

£11,400 per annum

4 days per week: £130 per day

£19,760 per annum

Morning clubs are charged at £15 per session and run from 9.30-10.30.

Please note that school fees are subject to 20% VAT.

Fees are payable termly, with a non-refundable registration fee of £300 and a refundable deposit of £1,500 required upon registration.
